A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Prior Authorization/Appeals (Remote)! Licensed Vocational Nurse Highlights Pay: $26.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday (40 hrs/week)Training: M–F 8:00am–4:30pm CT Permanent schedule: Shifts M–F between 8:00am–7:00pm CT Location: Fully Remote (Work From Home) — anywhere in the U.S. (Excluding MT, VT, AK, HI, ND, SD, and NM) Employment Type: W2 Temporary Responsibilities Process and communicate Commercial Prior Authorizations (PA) and Appeals for pharmacy benefits Manage inbound/outbound calls while meeting productivity/quality/service level expectations Review complex requests using clinical criteria and supporting documentation (chart notes, claims history, PA history) Complete accurate documentation, data entry, and follow-up to avoid delays Escalate cases that do not meet criteria to the appropriate clinical/pharmacist/MD team(s) Navigate multiple systems/tools simultaneously with speed and accuracy Support team operations (including training/mentoring as needed) Requirements Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license (must be licensed in the state you reside) Prior authorization experience required2+ years recent PA experience in a PBM, medical office (MDO), or clinical setting) Appeals experience preferred Experience with CoverMyMeds (or similar platform) preferred/expected High School Diploma or GED required Able to work a sedentary desk-based role (prolonged sitting/typing/screen time) Reliable, predictable attendance Work From Home / Tech Requirements (Must Have) Dedicated, HIPAA-compliant workspace away from distractions Wired internet: minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload Must be able to hardwire PC into modem/router Prescreen Questions (Need answers included with resume) Do you have a separate workspace with no interruptions (HIPAA compliant)? Do you have any conflicts with the training schedule or time off planned during the assignment? Do you have wired internet meeting 25/3 Mbps minimum? Are you able to sit and focus with no interruptions for the entire shift? Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
